LeoCares empowers our employees to get involved on a local level by allowing them to have a say in the causes we support and to drive the change they want to see at a grassroots level.
In September, LeoCares focused on impactful initiatives led by our Warsaw office. Our team partnered with the One More Tree Foundation to contribute to environmental conservation efforts in one of Warsaw’s vital green spaces. Employees from the Warsaw office participated in a reforestation project in Kabacki Forest, planting nearly 100 trees. Karolina Stołecka, HR Manager at the Warsaw office, commented on the project:
“On September 20, the LeoVegas Polska team got involved in protecting the environment. In the Kabacki Forest – one of Warsaw’s most important green areas – we planted almost 100 trees, which will allow for the reconstruction and maintenance of the tree stand. We would like to thank the One More Tree Foundation for supporting and organising this campaign. We are happy that we can support the environment and build ecological awareness among our team.“
In light of the floods that struck southwestern Poland in September, an additional donation was made through LeoCares to support relief and recovery efforts. A donation was made to Polska Akcja Humanitarna (PAH), a national organisation working across all affected regions, and to the Municipality of Głuchołazy, helping residents rebuild their homes and businesses after the extensive damage caused by the floods.
