LEOVEGAS PRIVACY NOTICE

We at LeoVegas Gaming Plc, holder of company registration number C 59314, having its registered address at Level 7, The Plaza Business Centre, Bisazza Street, Sliema, SLM 1640, Malta, take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to candidates that submit their CV as part of the selection process of any of the entities that form part of the LeoVegas Group. Please take the time to read through such notice before proceeding.
Roles and Responsibilities
For the purposes of this notice and the recruitment process, LeoVegas Gaming Plc acts as controlling undertaking with overarching responsibilities in relation to the processing of your personal data. Other LeoVegas Group entities involved in the process may also be acting as controllers if they will be the recruiting entity for the specific role or otherwise take decisions on the hiring process which will impact the processing of your personal data.
Other Group or third-party entities providing a service to the recruiting entity and acting under its sole instructions would be considered a processor for such purposes.
Why Do We Need Your Personal Data?
Personal data is needed by LeoVegas in order to manage and document its recruitment and selection process for the role being applied for, including receiving job applications, communicating with the applicants, evaluating, interviewing and selecting suitable candidates. LeoVegas uses a third-party platform to conduct such a process. In order for the service provider to deliver its services and fulfill its obligations, Personal Data (as described further below) will be shared between the service provider and LeoVegas throughout the lifetime of the agreement.

| Who is your data shared with? | Third-Party Platform Provider: who provides the Software Platform where candidates are able to send their CVs and job application, enabling us to further handle it during the recruitment and selection process. The third-party entity also relies on subcontractors to provide and support its services. Based on the level of interaction you have within the platform, some of your personal data may be processed by these providers. Group companies: Your name, surname, email, address, date of birth and phone number may be shared with other companies within the LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group where the recruitment process relates to another entity affiliated to the Group. Other third-parties: Where LeoVegas relies on services provided by other third-party entities for the recruitment and selection process (e.g. recruiting agencies, assessment providers) your personal data will, depending on the role and involvement of the third-party service used, be processed by such entities in order to fulfil their contractual obligations with us and provide the contracted service. |

| Will the Personal Data be transferred internationally? | Yes, your personal data will be transferred subject to Standard Contractual Clauses as provided by the GDPR or equivalent legislation, together with additional supplementary measures, including encryption in transit and at rest. |
| Is automation or AI used in the recruitment process? | As part of our recruitment process, we use automated tools, including artificial intelligence-based systems, to assist in reviewing applications. These tools analyze information contained in submitted CVs and application materials in order to identify skills and experience relevant to the advertised role, categorize applications based on role alignment, and apply an internal “talent fit” indicator to assist our recruitment team. This automated assessment is used solely as a support tool to help prioritize applications for review. In addition, where we rely on third-party assessment providers for specific tests or assessments, such third-parties may also use automation and AI tools for these purposes. In these cases, we will only use tools that guarantee equivalent safeguards as those afforded directly by LeoVegas. Importantly, when relying on automated tools, including artificial intelligence-based systems, whether directly or via third-parties, LeoVegas ensures that: – No decisions to reject or exclude candidates are made solely by automated means. – All applications are reviewed by our HR team and/or hiring managers. – Human judgment is applied before any recruitment decision is made. |
| How long will your Personal Data be kept for? | Subject to your consent, we will keep your personal data only for three years starting from the end of the recruitment and selection process for your role. During these three years, we may contact you should there be a future role which we feel you would be suitable for. If you opt not to provide your consent, we will retain your personal data only as permitted or required under applicable legislation and to protect our rights at law. Should you be selected for the role, any data required for your employee record will be processed in line with another privacy notice applicable to employees. |
Additional information during the selection process
Should you be shortlisted for an interview or as part of the final selection process, LeoVegas may, depending on the job specifications, request further information to assess your suitability for the role.
In this regard and when required by applicable regulations, such as Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, or other equivalent obligations, LeoVegas will request your criminal conduct certificate or carry out criminal record checks to ensure your suitability for the role. This information is only retained if conduct shows no criminal conviction or offence or when retaining the information is mandatory for specific roles in accordance with applicable regulations.
In addition, where LeoVegas is subject to obligations arising from laws regulating the field of employment, including the working environment, and for such purposes it is required to conduct specific assessments concerning your health, LeoVegas reserves the right to conduct or ensure the conduct of these assessments, or request any such information as required to fulfil these obligations.
Furthermore, depending on the role and with your agreement, LeoVegas may obtain professional references from previous employers or other colleagues you have worked with in the past.
Should any of these checks be required, the HR team will specifically inform you about the process which will be carried out in full transparency and with your complete involvement.
Any information collected for these purposes will be kept strictly confidential and will not be made available to any other third party unless a disclosure is required by law.

What do you have the right to request from us?
In accordance with the applicable data protection laws, as an individual, you have a number of rights that may be exercised in relation to the personal data used for the purposes mentioned in this policy.
These include Your:
- Right of access to your Personal Data;
- Right to ask LeoVegas to rectify inaccurate Personal Data concerning you;
- Right to have LeoVegas erase your Personal Data (‘right to be forgotten’);
- Right to ask LeoVegas to restrict (that is, store but not further process) Your Personal Data;
- Right to ask LeoVegas to provide Your Personal Data to You in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or (where technically feasible) to have it ‘ported’ directly to another data controller (‘right to data portability’)
- Right to withdraw any consent you may have given LeoVegas at any time;
- Right to object to LeoVegas’ processing your Personal Data (where the processing is based on legitimate interest grounds));
- Right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exemptions or restrictions, should these apply.
When should you expect to receive a reply from LeoVegas?
We shall reply and facilitate you in relation to your request within one month from receipt of the request, which period may be extended by two months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of the requests. We shall inform you of any such extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for the delay. This Policy including any changes thereof will be available in the dedicated recruitment portal used by LeoVegas, as well as in our careers page.
